POWDER VARIETIES

1. Idly powder

Ingredients
Channa dal(bengal gram)-1/2 cup
Black urad dal-1/2 cup
Dry chillies-1/2 cup
Garlic -10 flakes
Rock salt-3 tsp
Curry leaves
Asafoetida-little

Method
Dry roast each ingredient except garlic.
Mix all together and roast once.
Add garlic and remove from fire.
Cool it and powder.
Can store in air tight container for 1 year.


2. (i referred it as my masala powder in receipes)
Garam masala powder

Ingredients:
Dhaniya-3 cup
Red chillies-2 cup
Jeera-1/4 cup
Pepper-1/4 cup
Few -2 cloves,2 cinnamon,1 tsp aniseeds,1 tsp poppy seeds
Curryleaves
Turmeric powder

Method

Dry roast each ingredients seperately and powder.
This powder can be used for all items where we use masala products.

    4. add photos of each recepie if possible
    5. ingredients and methods in different color and font.
